LeAnn Rimes Opens Up About the Scandalous Affair

In the October issue of Shape magazine, country singer/actress LeAnn Rimes speaks exclusively about the scandalous affair that brought down her marriage last year. After months of denying that anything was going on between LeAnn, 28, and actor Eddie Cibrian, who was also married at the time, the two began quietly stepping out as a couple.

Fast forward to a year later and LeAnn and Eddie are happily living together. "I understand why people are disappointed in me, especially since I grew up as America's sweetheart. I think any relationship is hard to get out of, and I don't think the way I did it was right," she admits. As to why she wanted out of her relationship with Dean Sheremet, LeAnn said, "It wasn't a fulfilling marriage for either of us. As we got older, we grew apart."

Unfulfilling and they grew apart as they got older? I wonder if that's how her ex-husband Dean remembers it.
